The hotel Calvanella is
located 1400 m above sea level in the sweet tiny village of Pian del
Falco, one of the most renown ski resort in the Appenin mountains of
Modena. The hotel started as a small mountain hut and has been
run by the same family for generations.
The hotel is located at the base of the ski
slopes. It is connected to the town of Sestola by a paved road
as well as by a chair-lift and to the slopes of Passo del Lupo by a
shuttle service.
In the summer time, the hotel is an ideal starting
point for hikes and walks, and it offers the possibility of
requesting a specialized guide for more demanding excursion. The
hotel has a beautiful courtyard with a solarium and a play ground
for children. The kitchen offers home-style cooking with local
specialities.
